Frequently Assed Questions.

Believe it or not, I occasionally DO get emails regarding to the website, and there's only 3 or 4 questions I ever get asked, so I figured I'd share them here for you now, for your future benefit.

1. Why do you use frames for navigation? That's a stupid way to do it! I HATE FRAMES! Bwaaarrgh!

The Frames are mostly a holdover from when I initially designed the site. Initially my webhost did not offer any sort of scripting support, so it was either frames, or a fixed tableset on every page. So I went with frames. Since then, I have Upgraded my hosting plan, and I am teaching myself to use PHP, I hope to wean myself off of frames sometime in the near future, but it is taking much longer than I expected.

2. Would you be interested in selling your MAME arcade?

Not my personal one, no, there's too many things I would fix about it. However, if you seriously like it and want one of your own, I will entertain serious offers to build you one. E-mail me and we can discuss it.

3. What ever happened to the 2600 palm emulator project?

Well I'm having a hell of a time wrestling with the old OS4 (Dragonball) line of palms, they're seriously lacking in the processor power department. If I were writing for the ARM based, newer palms it would be super easy, but for now I'm at a bit of an impasse looking for ways to get more juice out of the machine. Also if anyone happense to know of an open-source emulation core that is NOT written in ARM or Assembly, I'd be interested in taking a look at it.
